  Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS)

Information on Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) at bottom of this page

Deep brain stimulation surgery is an option for some who suffer from dystonia.  We have two members of our DSG-Alabama group who have undergone DBS.  We hope that the links on this page will help others both understand what DBS can do for patients with dystonia and understand what our members' experiences have been with DBS.

Please recognize that this web page is meant only as an introduction to DBS information.  Please visit our Links page for more resources from our national organizations.

CLAY

Clay underwent DBS surgery on October 27, 2008.

Please visit Clay's Caring Bridge web site to keep abreast of his progress.

RAMONA
